The senior arm of the Kingborough Lions United Football Club caters for both male and female players. The Club strives to have teams playing in the highest possible competitions in Southern Tasmania while recognising the need to cater for players who wish to participate at a “social level”. The competitions are under the umbrella of Football Federation Tasmania and all competitions are run in accordance with FIFA Regulations. The club is community based and is always actively recruiting players and enhancing the playing environment.

The 2013 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Sunday 15th Dec commencing at 10am at Lightwood Park Clubrooms. Nomination forms are now available.
The Club looks forward to seeing all players that played during the 2013 season at preseason training this also includes the Club’s League One players. Also new players wanting to play at the Victory level from other NPL clubs or SPL/Social League clubs are encouraged to come along and engage in the KLUFC Victory League program, playing opportunities and pathways are outstanding for players moving forward and the Club is determined to part of the action.
From Under 6 to Premier Women, never played or elite, this is the day for all female players to come to Lightwood Park to celebrate the World Game and have a kick followed by a social BBQ. Young, Old, experienced or green, don't be scared to come along and have a try or show off your skills, bring a friend you will be welcome.
The Club’s juniors got a huge amount out of the experience, embracing the opportunity to meet their A-League heros and role models. The participation in the event highlighted the importance of ‘volunteer’ activities in junior and youth development....
Kingborough Lions United FC's new head coach will be Stephen Pitchford. The Lions have elected not to reappoint Steve Adkins for the 2014 Victory League season. The Lions would like to thank Steve for his efforts over the last two years at the Lions. In what was a challenging season on and off the pitch in 2013, Steve has always maintained a high level of commitment and dedication to the playing group.
