The senior arm of the Kingborough Lions United Football Club caters for both male and female players. The Club strives to have teams playing in the highest possible competitions in Southern Tasmania while recognising the need to cater for players who wish to participate at a “social level”. The competitions are under the umbrella of Football Federation Tasmania and all competitions are run in accordance with FIFA Regulations. The Kingborough Lions United Football Club has kicked off its bold vision to develop a world-class Southern Tasmanian Football Hub at Kingston with the release of a $790,000 plan to turn the Lion’s Den into the premier soccer ground in Tasmania.
Council grounds remain closed and no indoor venues are available, so we have had to cancel SAP and Youth Academy sessions Wednesday 22 June.
The Kingborough community has clearly declared it wants to see urgent action on improving grounds and facilities at the Sports Centre in Kingston. That’s the view of Warren Iles, President of the Kingborough Lions United Football Club, today after delivering a petition with over 500 messages to Federal, State and Local Government representatives.

Due to all grounds being closed Monday 06 June and the deluge we have managed to secure indoor venues for tonight's sessions.
