The senior arm of the Kingborough Lions United Football Club caters for both male and female players.  The Club strives to have teams playing in the highest possible competitions in Southern Tasmania while recognising the need to cater for players who wish to participate at a “social level”.   The competitions are under the umbrella of Football Federation Tasmania and all competitions are run in accordance with FIFA Regulations.  The club is community based and is always actively recruiting players and enhancing the playing environment.  To keep up to date subscribe to the Club's Mailing List.

The Lions are excited to have some new experienced coaches coming into Cycle 4 and also will be hosting the C4 Festival at Twin Ovals in December. We will be introducing a new Young Lions Coordinator for season and the Club's Technical Director Simon Edwards will be managing the program until the new Coordinator is announced. A great cycle to engage SAP or Discovery with good weather and the grounds in tip top shape.

Thanks to Dean Winter - Kingborough Council for raising the Notice of Motion at last nights Council meeting on behalf of the Club (which passed with the council's unanimous support). We now look forward to Council 'fast-tracking' the development of the business case and project plan so we can capitalise on the interest and momentum and improve the facilities to support the World Game in Kingborough.

Youth Presentation Awards 2016

A wonderful Youth Presentation Dinner was held on Saturday 10 September. Over 160 youth players,coaching staff and VIPs enjoyed a lovely meal, awards presentation and late night DJ and photoboothing. A highlight of the night was a moving rendition of the KLUFC Club song, led by Bernie Siggins and accompanied by all players on stage. Congratulations to all KLUFC Youth players and award winners on a fantastic season. Many thanks to the hard working Youth committee and helpers for organising such a great night out - Roar with the Pride!!
