    <description>Starting from November 2014, all Kingborough Lions United FC volunteers over the age of 16 are required to have a Tasmanian Working with Children Check, (the new type of registration).  This registration replaces the older Police Checks for screening volunteers for working with children.  The club will cover the cost of the Working with Children Check. Even if you have a current Police Check in 2014, you need to register for the Working with Children Check as soon as possible as the turnaround is 7-8 weeks.</description>

<p>From this point in time forward, the Club will<strong><i> not nominate any team</i></strong> that has Coaches, Assistant Coaches, Team Managers, or First Aiders who do not have a current Working with Children Check.  Please see below for instructions.</p>

<li>Personal Details - h<i>ave your Drivers Licence or Proof of Identity near by as Regsitration Numbers are required</i></li>
<li>Employment and Volunteering Details<br />Organisation Name: <i>Kingborough Lions United Football Club</i><br />Address: <i>Lightwood Crescent, Kingston 7050</i> and Postal Address: <i>PO Box 61 Blackmans bay 7052</i></li>
<li>Contact Name:  <i>your Program coordinator</i></li>
</ul>

<li style="text-align: left; ">Print pdf you receive following online application</li>
<li style="text-align: left; ">Take printout to Service TAS with Proof of Identify (Licence/Photo ID e.g. Passport)</li>
<li style="text-align: left; ">Pay the $17.76 at Service Tasmania</li>
<li style="text-align: left; ">Advise your <span> your Program Coordinator by </span>Email</li>
<li style="text-align: left; ">On receipt of the Licence , scan or upload photo of card and details using the <a href="resolveuid/7d5d15b0-b5eb-4d88-a9a8-3118e9d94337" class="internal-link">Working with Children Claim Form</a>.</li>
<li style="text-align: left; ">The KLUFC Treasurer will then arrange reimbursement.</li>

<h3>How Much?</h3>
<p>$17.76 which will be reimbursed by the club for genuine club Volunteers.</p>
<h3>What About Teachers/Aids ?</h3>
<p>A person that is a registered teacher and is coaching as part of their duties is not required to be registered, but a person that is a registered teacher and who volunteers to coach the local soccer team is required to be registered (this is where it is not a role required by the school etc.). Registration for the latter must occur by 1 April 2015.</p>]]></content:encoded>
