Young Lions Youth Academy Keeper In Italy

Congratulations to our own Nick O'Connell who is currently participating in a two week  football program in Milan, Italy.

Nick will be working in a professional Italian Football environment for the two weeks and playing against some of the top Italian Youth teams. After Italy Nick will travel to London and experience the GK1 Academy and trials with EPL club Crystal Palace. The interaction with top level European football will be a great experience and addition to Nick's football development journey.

Nick's work ethic and commitment to his personal develpment has shone through in the Lions Youth Academy in 2016 which saw him donning the gloves for the Lions NPL team at the age of 15.

"Young players aspiring to play football at the top level should consider having a look at Nick's dedication to his development as a footballer"
said Simon Edwards, KLUFC Technical Director,
"Nick brings a determined and professional attitude to every training session and match, and continually works hard in his own time to extend his natural skills and football knowledge in the pursuit of  football excellence."

The club is proud to be working with Nick to help him achieve his football goals and wishes him all the best for his exciting trip - and looks forward to an exciting season with Nick in the club's NPL Academy in 2017.
