KLUFC Launches Youth Leadership Program for Season 2018

The KLUFC Youth Leadership program was established by the Club to nurture and support the personal growth and development of leadership qualities in some of the exceptional young people we have playing football at KLUFC. The program also can count towards the “Service” component for the Duke of Edinburgh Award.

Successful nominees will be allocated an Assessor who be their contact point and facilitator. Participants will attend a FFA Skills Training Certificate coaching course and will be allocated to Junior soccer team in a mentoring role (as an assistant coach) during the season. This will involve a volunteer time commitment of around 1.5-2 hours a week (including weekly report). At the end of the season, Assessors will provide an assessment report to each participant based on their performance and achievements over the year.
